Advocare Whats your story ???

It has been a year since I have joined Advocare; my story just to recap when i was invited to a advocare mixer I was over 325 lbs and wore a size 28 Women's pants and 3-4 X shirts, I was tired all the time and walking was hard with out wheezing and coughing all time my asthma was really bad i had steroid base inhaler used 3 times a day and nebulizer used 2 x a day and slept on a breathing machine for sleep apnea;  When my asthma was out of control i ended up on steroids (predisone) for a week at least 3 to 4 times a year. I tried dieting; had my sons girlfriend my daughter in law now to do portion control for me still didn't lose much then I met Mark at a nutrition seminar he brought all the puzzle pieces together for me, you can watch the seminar at; www.Tomorrowschampions.com, click on the seminar button. Then my mother passed away prematurely in February  and I looked at the pictures of my grandchildren and realized if I didn't change my life style  I would not see  them grow up and have kids.  I started changing my eating habits first from January,2012 to March lost 27lbs,I ordered my cleanse, spark first end of march and started this with my friend Jean in April while on the cleanse I lost 10 lbs in 10 days, I continued eating healthy and making better choices for my life. I'am a year later, I am down 80 lbs from size 28 to loose 22 and 2x shirts, i have energy no longer need or use inhalers, nebulizers or sleep apnea machine.. still eat healthy choices (there are time when this is not possible). My products are MNS3 , spark , thermoplus and joint promotion as necessary.. This year I will continue with the healthy eating, using my advocare products and losing the fat and start working out to gain some muscle and firm up. I am also setting a goal for this year  to help 10 people with there issue of health , financial or both by introducing them to advocare products and/or  the opportunity to become debt free, time free and be able to decide what they want for their life.

24 day challenge

Hello, I am getting ready to start my 24 day challenge on Monday January 14th, going to enter the transformation contest that goes along with the challenge that is being sponsored by Advocare, awesome products..

I have all my products, have the herbal cleanse awesome and gentle, my omega plex to move the fat out of my body.. my favorite Spark energy drink which gives me focus , energy with vitamins , amino acids and sugar free.. My breakfast shakes.. then after the 10 days i have spark and MNS 3 the best vitamin pack.. I will be writing on this post daily to let you know my results and be adding to it .. so come back and check out my progress.. There is also an awesome new product line and that is work out Cd's the first being can you 24? 

So I will be writing more stay tuned ..

Good Monday Morning, so today I got up at 5am, drank my fiber drink , took my omaga's and drank my spark , did my 24 min melt work out with my new advocare work out series can you 24?  awsome start to my week.  Time to get ready for work eat healthy and have a great day; staytuned to my 24 day challenge updates and my results at the end of the 24 days while I transform my body and live a healthier lifestyle.
Meals so far today 2 hard boiled eggs , hot green tea with splenda, multigrain crackers, 2pieces of chicken breast baked with broccoli and califlower,  chicken salad with lettace and tomato with sundried tomato vinergrete.
Took my two omega's with my 3 fiber
pills.
Day 2 tomorrow stay tuned.
I was up at 5am did my fiber drink, omega's and spark did my 24min  core work out. Then shower and work. Food today eggs, hard boiled water, chicken salad brown rice chips, salad with sundried tomato vinaigrette dressing. Took my pills from my cleanse and 2 omegas.
Day 3 up drank my fiber drink, took my omegas and drank my spark. Ate cereal with almond milk and did my workout sculpt routine. Got ready for work.. Feeling good working out in am. Ate my meals and took my fiber pill and omega before bed.  Went to church tonight it has been a busy day and i dont feel tired.
Here we are at day 4, got up today started on my proboitic restore this morning with my omega, no fiber drink  until day 8. Replacement meal shake today ; didnt have time to work out this morning going to do core training and some yoga this evening when i get home. I need to become more flexible then i'm feeling.  Stay tuned for more updates.
Okay so I got busy with life; I have completed days 5-9 on the cleanse and working out saturday morning added 1.5 mile walk to my first week boy was i feeling it.. I have worked out last couple of days and still feeling sore. This showes how out of shape Iam and think I need new walking shoes. Iam currently on day 10 of the cleanse thursday i start my vitamins continue with spark add in meal replacment shakes. End of the Year

It is December 26th and all the Christmas party's and goodies are gone, I did really good this year I gave away all my baking, I tried a new coffee cake recipe had one piece and one nieman Marcus cookie my sister made, I gave to neighbors and friends who had kids all of the rest of my baking. It is now to start getting ready to get back on track for the New Year, no resolution for me this year just going to continue my healthy life style that i worked on and maintained through 2012. 
The 24 day challenge is a great way to start off the new year you will receive a herbal cleanse, spark, replacement meal shakes , omega plex, and MNS 3 vitamins.  The cleanse is very gentle and makes you feel lighter, more energy and great way to kick off the new year, Its for 10 days and cleanse vital organs (liver and kidneys) as well.

I plan to push my workouts to be more like 5 times a week , with alternating between walking, dancing, and yoga and weight training with kettle bells, I want to hit my next goal by April which will be a year since I started using Advocare products. I am currently wearing a size 22 pants and 2x shirt , I would like to be in a size 18 by April.. I have been converting recipes to make them healthier to expanded menu choices for meals, been thinking of creating a cook book  I have 5 recipes converted already, still need to work on more. 

I hope everyone enjoyed the holidays with families and friends remembered what the true meaning of Christmas is and Have a great New Year "2013",  I will be  writing every 2 weeks over the next year with my success and trials of hitting my next goal target date is April 13th, 2013...

Creating healthy recipes for fall

 Hello Friends, this is my second installment to my healthy lifestyle , I have always loved to cook and create new recipes.  I don't know who knew that I went to school to be a chef, loved being creative in the kitchen baking and making artistic items out of vegetable's and fruits, lately i have been creating by changing unhealthy ingredients to healthier choices to make the items better.  As I said before I am a mother and grandmother, so my boys have always loved baked goods, now I can give them healthier choices .
 My recipes for this week is my Italian Turkey Sausage stew, this is easy and Delicious, and crust less Pumpkin pie; great this time of year and really good. I hope you will comment and let me know how you like them .  

Sweet Italian Turkey Sausage Stew
Ingredients                              4 servings
1- Package Turkey Sausage links 5 to 6 links
2 cloves of garlic chopped
2 tablespoon Olive Oil
1- Chopped onion
1-2 Bell Peppers chopped (can be green, yellow or red or a mixture of)
2- Zucchini sliced
8 oz container of sliced mushrooms
3 over ripe large tomatoes chopped
4 ice cubes of tomato sauce
I take a can of no salt tomato sauce small can  and freeze the sauce in Ice cube trays covered with plastic wrap so you can use it in recipes,
Cook sausage until done in skillet, chop into bite size pieces and set aside.
Chop all vegetables Put 2 tablespoons of olive oil in skillet with 2 cloves of garlic chopped  cook all vegetables except for tomato sauce or tomatoes, once vegetables are tender then add sausage and tomatoes and tomato ice cubes, season stew with 1tsp of basil , oregano, parsley, salt and pepper to taste.
Simmer on low heat allow stew to become rich and thick and tomatoes to cook down. Serve in bowls.
CRUST LESS PUMPKIN PIE
A HEALTHY CHOICE

Ingredients
Nonstick cooking spray (I chose olive oil spray)
1/2 cup splenda, stevia sugar substitute
1 tsp of ground cinnamon
1/2 tsp of salt (I use sea salt)
1/2 tsp of ginger
1/4 tsp of ground cloves,
8Tblsp of almond meal flour (you can buy this at Publix in organic section; or make it by ground up natural almonds in food processor, until flour consistent)
(I used pumpkin pie spice and put the amounts of ginger and cloves in with the mixture still used the cinnamon)
 2 large Eggs
1 can of pumpkin 15 oz
3/4c. of Almond Milk
PUT IN MIXING BOWEL ALL DRY INGREDIENTS THEN ADD EGGS PUMPKIN MIX ON LOW ADD MILK A LITTLE AT A TIME, UNTIL ALL BLENDED,
SPRAY THE PIE PLATE OR 13X9 INCH PAN,
IF GLASS COOK AT 325 IF METAL AT 350
9” PIE PLATE 55-60 MIN
10” PIE PLATE 45-50 MIN
13X9 40-45 MIN
CHECK IF DONE BY USING A KNIFE IF COMES OUT CLEAN THEN DONE PUT ON COOLING RACK FOR 2 HOURS BEFORE CUTTING , IN ORDER FOR IT TO FIRM UP.  SERVE WITH WHIP CREAM IF DESIRED.

Advocare is it right for you ?

Welcome to my blog, I hope you continue to read and join my journey to a healthy lifestyle and changes I will be making. I am a mother , and grandmother who has struggled with my weight, I was 325 which is my heaviest, I had to send my weight in when I purchased my cap and gown for Collage graduation; in the summer of 2010, I prayed to Lord for guidance and then, I was introduced to AdvoCare late January 2012 and went to my first health and wellness seminar; I changed little things at first I quit drinking coffee, reduced my tea intake with adding lemonade until I could stop drinking it all together and increased my water intake with Spark one to two times a day. Spark is really good my favorite is Strawberry Mango.
On April 23 rd I started the herbal cleanse which is for 10 days, with the spark and eating healthy. I lost 10lbs in 10 days, I started the MNS max 3 and continued using spark and the healthy eating habits and I lost another 10 lbs so in the first 30 days I have lost 20 lbs, from when I started using Spark,& mns (multi nutritional system) products & started changing my eating habits It has been 10 months and I am currently down total loss is 75 lbs, I have dropped 3 clothes sizes.
